Position Description

ATS is seeking either junior or experienced recruiters that are highly motivated team players with a positive, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor. To date, ATS has achieved much of its success through the recruiting engine and processes built around candidate sourcing, screening and closing. Through the years, the ATS sales team has been able to apply the credibility of the company across the Chicagoland market, creating great opportunities for candidates. Capturing the message of success and carrying it forward to candidates will be the primary objective of this position.

Responsibilities

Building new relationships and positioning ATS as an employer of choice in candidate pools and populations are the core responsibilities of the Recruiter. Other responsibilities of the Recruiter include:

  • Become intimately familiar with ATS and its core competencies
  • As needed, posting positions to groups, job boards and other online recruiting tools
  • Source quality candidates, prescreen and qualify them to specific to job requisitions
  • Present opportunity to candidates
  • Interview candidates
  • Negotiate rates
  • Format resumes as needed
  • Perform background, reference and technical checks as required by the process
  • Present candidates to clients in conjunction with the sales team
  • Coordinate scheduling of interviews between candidates and clients
  • Present and finalize offer with candidates
  • Locate and identify candidates to be added to the ATS database for future consideration
  • Work closely and coordinate with Business Development Managers to fulfill client requirements
  • Source and qualify technical consultants through a variety of sources including in-house database, candidate networking, referrals, direct recruiting, Internet recruiting
  • Continuously build a candidate pipeline and maintain responsibility for ongoing candidate relationship management
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate system documentation on all prospects and hires
  • Understand current and emerging technologies in order to properly identify and qualify candidates
  • Utilizing creative networking and sourcing skills to get to the best talent in the market, not just what is available

Candidate Requirements

  • The Junior Recruiter should have a Minimum of 1-2 years of recruiting experience, preferably within the IT arena
  • The experienced IT Recruiter should have a Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience within IT
  • Strong exposure to internet sourcing, internet recruiting
  • Intelligent and energetic with a ‘do whatever it takes’ attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and articulate, with an eye for perfection, when necessary
  • High level of focus on integrity and candidate value
  • Technically proficient with experience in utilizing recruiting or contact management software
  • Highly organized and proven capability in managing work process and follow up tasks
  • Skilled in MS Office, internet searching and other PC tools, as required
